Microblading is the art of meticulously implanting tattoo ink into the skin to look like individual strokes of hair. Much different from the old method eyebrow tattooing which looks like blocks of drawn color, this new trend results in very natural full brows that last up to 2 years.
The process requires 2 visits approximately 6 weeks apart. During the first session, the client is topically numbed, measured and marked for the correct shaped brows for their face. After this thorough process, during which the artist and the client agree on the final shape, the blading process begins. It is very important to choose an artist who understands the skin as well as sterile technique and is comfortable using the hand held blade. The hair strokes are placed meticulously, and after the session she will explain detailed instructions to ensure proper healing. The entire visit is about 2 hours.
During the second session, small touch ups for color and shape will be done to give the final full natural brows. The touch up lasts about 45 minutes and the touch up is included in the original price.
